    Dance at Le Moulin de la Galette (1876) by Pierre Renoir is a vintage impressionism fine art painting. The dancers look to be enjoying themselves and celebrating with a party. Quite possibly Renoir's best known masterpiece. An open-air scene crowded with people having fun dancing at a popular dance garden restaurant on the Butte Montmartre, close to where he lived. About the artist: Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) was a leading painter in the development of the Impressionist style. Renoir's paintings are noteable for their vibrant light and saturated colour, most often focusing on people in intimate and candid compositions.

    Purchase of the 7th Cavalry Mug was a last minute addition to my purchases and I am really pleased I acquired the Mug. The one I purchased was a "large" but wow, it is large - Extremely well made and just to Mug to put down at a coffee time with a bunch of mates. Early days, but the colours and motifs (there are two) withstand the washing and look great.
