The Image is created from a painting technique I refer to as Automatic Painting. I start with colour on paper or canvas and allow a story to unfold from the brush with no initial editing. Eventually I edit to make the image more balanced but I try to keep the editing to a minimum. It is exiting to see stories unfold and also to witness the reactions of others. The Adventures of Dancing Woman are a series of paintings that portray humourous and sometimes very serious topics but they are all fun no matter what.
