Dasht-e Kevir The US Geological Survey and NASA have created a series of fabulous images showing views of “Earth as Art.” Sadly, mere images on your screen fail to capture the stunning beauty of these high resolution pictures and the photo quality posters they produce. We at Meralee Fine Poster Art offer two versions for your consideration, posters and art prints. For display in a public place and/or for educational purposes, we recommend the poster version. A quarter inch white border surrounds the image and would be covered by a frame, so the prints are 24.5x24.5 inches square at 300 PPI. Since the original images are high resolution, these can be printed at up to 52x52 inch size and still retain a good quality image. A small, colour coordinated credit line, which includes the title, is placed discretely in the lower right corner when north is towards the top of the print. As a work of art, it may be displayed in any orientation. Does anyone really know which way is up? It is a primarily uninhabited wasteland, composed of mud and salt marshes covered with crusts of salt that protect the meagre moisture from completely evaporating.
