Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos in Spanish, is a Mexican holiday that occurs in early Nov. On Dia de los Muertos the boundaries between life and death blur and celebrants honour their loved ones who have passed away. The calavera (skull) is a symbolic element that decorates all Day of the Dead celebrations. This colourful tie features a polka dot pattern of sugar skull designs in red, black, white and yellow with blue and pink accents.
