Dear Lord- thank you for the GIFT of Salvation Postcard
11/29/11 1:50pm; try this again. eek. I was almost done writing this all out for you Gracie/LP/NR/JAES/ZKS/RC but than I accidentally hit the RED "x" with the mouse due to sun/glare from window on the pc screen. Ugh. Start with 11/20/11 and that is when John picked me up from Dolan Springs, Arizona and as I headed to Congress I did have my eyes filled with tears. I am so connected to my new journey that I always have to tell my emotional self that I have to see the journey through His eyes and that His Love will guide me all the way...in all areas...when I reached my backyard all the critters and kitties greeted me and Virgil even had a bird in his mouth and I will share that pic in the comment wall area...I am feeling ill today...just hung up with John...he was stung by a bee and has some swelling from a bike ride Sunday...get well John...ouch...Back to Sunday...just did gobs of laundry...John worked a heavy work schedule M-W and he got Nick, me & Sonny and himself some items from his job; thank you. He also got a free turkey from work; thank you Ruger Firearms :) I got my Ronda hug Tuesday instead of Wed & Lois stopped by before she went out of town and droppped off the loveliest greetings (thank you) and I know I am plum forgetting stuff feeling like I am...sorry to the one I may of forgot
In the start of the week I gifted an abundance of dolls/Barbies/toys/trains/trees/Christmas/etc to my neighbours who are renting Ashley's place and than a few days after I get emails from from Chandler/Mesa enquiring on purchasing what I just gave away for free. Funny how life works out. I don't feel bad. God is an Awesome God and will provide me with what I need...So I am not feeling well and to write this is not with ease especially after how long it took to write the earlier one to have it just vanish from my mouse hitting that red "x"; ugh. Thank you John for helping me pack up the vehicle so much and for taking me up here. It was odd to see you drive back and all...glad you had a little fun in Kingman...if you are up to it maybe soon we can go to some local spots around here; skip the Valentine wildlife thing and the skywalk thing though...seems too costly...more like Hualapai Mountains area or Oatman or some other areas like that...FREE except gas travel...Hmmm, thank you for washing that shirt too. Ok, I had a nice Thanksgiving and I hope you all did too. Had your normal setting of a Thanksgiving Feast thank you to Ruger Firearms for their gift of the turkey. We had a feast. Sunday came & went. NOT. So anyways, it is Saturday and John/I are waiting for about 20 minutes for Sonny as we seeing him loading trinkets in the dually and all I can think is WHY is he loading it to the max when I have ALL MY THINGS to pack in there??? UGH!!! I go into the $ store and get the A14 and then Sonny arrives and we head to Double D market and we run into Claude Thorpe (related to you Jason?) and Sonny smiles and said to Claude see you Sunday in church. As I am walking down the aisle I am thinking can I even pull it off? Me sit versus walking? I reckon only time would tell. I told him at the close of Saturday we will see how we feel in the morning than decide to go to church at 10:30am.
I was up by 4am and in complete joy to worship and I was ready to go so we went to the flea market where we ran into Mike and later I will post his business card in the comment wall. We went to Double D and got a banana cream pie because they mentioned they do potluck. Many know I do not do potluck and when I did go to the one in Yarnell GDK made special vegetable plate just for me. Thank you GDK for that. So I am greeted with the warmest hug from a lady named Tilly. Than Judy said hello and than as I sat and the service unfolded there was the following that greeted me at some point were the guy I sat next to were Sonny to my left and Ron to my right...Than in front of us was Ron, Timothy (which I saw again on 11/28/11 at Walmart right after a vomiting episode), Claude & Lois & in front of them were Dennis & Judy, Ann & Larry (he looked like Sonny's pop in a photo I saw as they both as a couple reminded me of GDK/ODK), than over by the pulpit was Tilly and her husband Chuck and on the piano was the pastor's wife Paula (she might be a pastor too???) and than over by the entrance was front row; Bob and maybe that's why he stood out to me but he sure was glazed with the holy spirit during hymns as well as a lady wearing a gold belt. You see she never introduced me and her name I asked for and forgot it but I know I can add it to comment wall soon...just ill and blanking...I know Gretchen's daughter never introduced herself or the gold belt lady or the young man and a couple others...yet I do recall John introducing himself. When entering the building which learned later they had a church but lost it and they are at Claude's home but there was a sign saying New Life Fellowship Church and as I googled it because I know some of you will message me what kind of denomination is it & their mission and values but all I got was confusion. It is 11/29/11 2:43pm and I am going to post this for now and add more later...time for my bath soak...Sonny got it temp. setup for my costochondritis-3:07pm...it would not let me post so I just left the pc and here I am back to doing what Gracie loves best; my rambling...she sure missed it she said and Ronda said she kept looking for new stuff to than learn I was just here and there adding to the thievery postcard...sorry...just not enough online time with all my new projects...but I did not realise anyone reads this so I will be more focused to jotting stuff down for you. Okay Gracie let me share what is on the bulletin for you. Pastor Eddie Duncan & Pastor Paula Duncan and if you google them not much about the church or them I see but it shows he use to be a retired Amarillo police officer as he was a guest speaker there a few years back.... The bulletin says:
PURPOSE: To provide rivers of living water to a dry, thirsty land
VISION: To bring the Kingdom of God into individual lives by leading people to a fuller understanding of all of God's biblical truths
DREAM: A church built on a solid biblical foundation that effects our community in every area: Social, Educational, Business, as well as Personal. To enable people to become all they can be. To walk in the fullness of love, to love their neighbour as themselves, and to demonstrate this by being true servants to one another.
Praise Reports- MJ: thank the Lord for our pastors who bring the message each week to me and my family. I thank God for all His blessings for us. Praise the Lord, Lois received a good report from the doctor. (BOTH NAMES HERE I HEARD WERE PRESENT FROM SOMEONE BUT THEY DID NOT INTRODUCE THEMSELVES SO COULD NOT TELL YA MUCH ABOUT THEM)
Prayer Requests:
Connie: please pray that my daughter Becky gets a job soon.
MJ: please pray that God be with the pastors on their trip.
Lorraine: please pray for travelling mercies for Darleen and me as we travel to my aunt Virginia in Tehachapi, CA. We leave on Wed/Thursday. (NOW GRACIE, I MET LORRAINE AND SHE INTRODUCED HERSELF AT THE END OF SERVICE; A DELIGHTFUL WOMAN...YOU WOULD ADORE HER BUT I KNOW DARLEEN WAS PRESENT BUT DID NOT INTRODUCE HERSELF)
please pray for wisdom in my meetings with EPA in Denver on Tuesday.
Tillie: Unspoken prayer for my son Joe
Pot Blessings to follow Sunday service. Thank you for bringing your favourite dish to share (MINE WAS NOT MY FAVORITE YET I JUST GOT INTO TOWN AND WE SAW CLAUDE THAN I WAS LED TO ATTEND SO WE GOT A BANANA CREAM PIE BUT NO WAY WOULD I CHOOSE THAT AS A DISH TO SHARE NORMALLY) Everyone is welcome, and guests are served first. (I DID NOTE THE PASTOR'S WIFE ATE THE EXACT MENU I NEEDED AND THERE WAS PLENTY TO SHARE BUT WHEN I SAW THAT PLATE GO BY I SAID THAT IS WHAT I AM HAVING AND THAN I DID NOT SEE IT ANYWHERE ON THE TABLES UNTIL I INTRODUCED MYSELF TO A LADY IN A WHEELCHAIR; GRETCHEN AND NOTED THE PLATE IN FRONT OF PASTOR PAULA. I WAS LIKE WELL I DID TAKE A LIL' OF THIS AND THAT BUT THERE WAS NOT MUCH SELECTIONS TO MY DIET NEEDS OF FRESH VEGGIES/FRUIT AND I ALSO NOTICED I HAD NO DRINK AND NOONE OFFERED TO SHOW ME WHERE THEY WERE SERVING IT. I DO NOT ENTER ANOTHER PERSON's HOME AND JUST GO LOOK FOR STUFF; NOT MY STYLE...THOUGHT SONNY WOULD OF NOTED IT>>>Rrrrright!!! Not. So this week they have prayer in sanctuary 9:45-10:15am than Sunday Service at 10:30am and an evening service at 6 and then Woman's Bible Study 2nd and 4th Mondays( and that would of been yesterday and I was awaiting just one invite even went to one and she said the directions are on the bulletin and I even stayed around a little bit to see if Pastor Paula would invite me yet she did not even greet herself to me until I was going really as she complimented my pink bird sweater...well, it worked out because we ended up doing doing doing on Monday...) Bible Study is Wed at the B&B at 6:30pm and Game Night (???) is the last Friday of each month ??? Have no clue what it is...
Dec. 16 is the Christmas party at 6pm; bring an elephant gift. Happy Birthday to Claude Thorpe/Connie Griggs. Now on to the service Gracie...that was most of the bulletin...it's way long on the back about prayer/praise slips & such....
They mentioned Bob was in prayer for a truck one Sunday & by Wed. he had one registered and the thought we had over here was he has barb wire around his neck with payments probably...right....that's funny...I did like the glaze of the Holy Spirit I saw from him during Hymns/Worship Songs. Maybe he did get a free one from Heaven that bounced down out of the skies...that's a blessing-Yet probably like me hooked on payments...gotta love that cookie cutter world... :) always locked to debt.
Judy wanted to praise the Leadership...peace...trials...forgive messups... and Bob wants us to pray for Jerry Hendrick & Aldena...give her strength...Jerry is a retired Boulder City cop...A lady spoke out (SHE NEVER INTRODUCED HERSELF TO ME SO I HAVE NO CLUE HER NAME) but she wants prayer for Ned & Donna ...Shannon...Wyoming...travel safety.
Lady in glasses which there were a few asked for prayer for Joan/Michelle....
Psalms 23...Ephesians 3...prayer...healing hearts...live life or lose it....walk in love (DID YOU HEAR THAT??? WALK IN LOVE...THAT IS ME IN A NUT SHELL)....the garment of praise lift the spirit of heaviness for one...
I looked around and there was 19 people plus Pastor Eddie & Pastor Paula and us...so it was 23...kinda like the churches in Congress...some larger...besides the Mormon & Jehova Witness Church which have sooooo many members...so Tilly read the bulletin I think...now they say the women's ministry meets every 2nd or 4th Monday 10-noon at 15517 Elmwood at JoDee's home (ANOTHER ONE THAT DID NOT INTRODUCE HERSELF NOR INVITE ME TO THE BIBLE STUDY'S AT HER HOME)
Pastor Paula mentioned there is no place like home and clicked her heels and yet when I let go and let God...my home is right where God leads me. I love my Congress home; I made it to reflect me and John. Very much it is set that way and yet I am here in Dolan and the purity I have with Sonny...this is indeed a God blessing and that topic has come up between John and me because I call home to both Congress and Dolan. So to me home is where God leads my heart...not where I think I want it to be...because if it was that way home is where my rifle hangs and plenty of ammo...and In God I trust...
You see I have been led to be guest to others' churches and yet I am the desert walker and my walks with Jesus is the moment I awake until I awake the next day...to me, I would be a member in a church that believed JESUS is the reason for any Season...I think there is much confusion when I have been with a church and the only 2 churches I was a member was Cave Creek's Assemble of God as a young teen with Pastor Tommy Barnett and Bethel Bible in Phoenix, Arizona with Pastor Bob Irvine. I went alot to both; very involved all through the week and I remember it all like it was yesterday. I am not made to be in a building yet I am a strong believer in knowing the Lord and having a relationship with Him and for Him to share His way to my life. When Pastor Paula said Jesus is the reason for this Season...to me, Jesus is the reason for ALL SEASONS...She mentioned walk with Jesus and not to let burdens weigh you down...and I know just that...if I died right this moment. God knows as well as John; ME. Sonny for the most part...he seems to have selective listening/hearing. Like today, I mentioned I had his pjs in this one spot yet he went to area of getting new ones and I am like ???? didn't he hear me? He said I did not mention it yet I did. That is where John would say him and I are very much alike...soft giggles. I was impressed by Pastor Paula for she had her eyes closed in prayer with love and heart as she said let go of sin and let God; a prayer of love...let it manifest...what was impressive was she remembered details to the praises & prayers which were lengthy without looking at papers and she also said the prayer perfect about the Craigslist ad YET I JUST LOOKED IT UP TO POST THE LINK HERE; vanished! THERE IS NO LISTING POSTED SO MAYBE IT WAS SPAM...
The Secret Place was mentioned yet I could not get the name in time...Marion Donahan? than we were led into prayer....some key stuff Gracie the pastor mentioned was "walk by faith" and we all have a need. I remember the folks getting up saying "this is my bible, this is my gun...this is for reading & this is for fun...." Well maybe it went more like this, Gracie--> I tried googling it but at a loss...maybe share it in comment wall when I get led to that answer...
I Thess. 4:9 and Pastor Eddie said we would be talking about LOVE...look to John 13:14....
2 old timers went into a restaurant..."Max, what do you have planned for your 50th anniversary?" Plans? "Well, I remember taking my wife to Arizona on our 25th Anniversary." ..."What are you going to do special????" and he replied "I reckon I will go back to Arizona and pick her up." ... Some songs we sang were hmmm....I forgot the 1st one but than it was King of Kings and it got faster and faster and it seemed they all had fun with it....than The God That Healeth Thee...We 3 Kings...Isn't He?....Emmaneul...Jesus Name Above All Names...Reign Me....Pastor Eddie mentioned God is not motivated by feelings...LOVE is not a feeling...LOVE is abused...I love the Creator not the creation...Faith alone...in faith by itself is powerful yet faith works through LOVE; walk in LOVE. Sounds alot like my zazzle page...GIVE IT AND IT WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU. Sonny and I gave all we had in our pockets not on the HOPE we will be given but because we both were lead to...he had planned on five for the 2 of us there and I was cool with it and would use some next visit yet God truly kept laying it on my heart that it was a visit not a home for me to become a body member yet I was to leave all I had on me. I was like ??? yeah right. Yet I obeyed even though I knew John would be like "yeah right" too. When I mentioned to a few when they asked how long I'd be in town and I pointed up & said as long as He wants me here and one said see you next week and I mentioned the immense discomfort I had with the chairs (and you know Gracie with my health not sure to sit from 10am until after 2pm was good at all; it was very hard for me...) yet the reply I got was bring a pillow like others have & do-
than I thought hmmm if I saw a newcomer come in and I KNEW the chairs were bad...I KNOW how I am...I would of shared my pillow or at least offered it to the person if I knew the chairs would do that...so that reply seem like a quick wit reply but I did not like how it tossed in my mind. Than I looked at the bulletin and noted there is no way to contact the church with numbers or emails or po box address for prayers & such...and when you google the church name and the pastors...I got an earful on warrants & such that I got curious if Pastor Eddie's middle name was Wayne....because trying to google the church I got much ugliness that I won't air hear but anyone can google it themselves like I did. Back to sermon topic points---> Word of God= TRUTH. In John, the Word became flesh and read the Word...BELIEVE...DO THE WORD...not hear...Do!
For God, In God - to us -...show....works don't save...let people look and think "Why are you so different?" and one replies "Jesus Loves Me"...then you are asked "How do you know?..."For the bible tells us so..." I am just sharing points I jotted down Gracie...I was not at all well that day and sitting there so long was not good but I wanted to share to you what I learned or heard....Deut. 1, II Corinth 1:20...Blessings will overcome you...he spoke alot on tithing like I hear in Pastor Ralph Well's church and Tommy Barnett's and even Pastor Bob Irvine. Malachi is where he said it is mentioned. He said Christians do not have concerns to stuff as much as control over their finances and yet from my view it is the STUFF they get that makes the finances the way they are...he kept stating Love covers a multitude of sins...read John 15:12.
Romans 2:1. Jesus is Lord! He also stated "give it and it will be given to you"..."love is patient...love is kind"...He also stated about the busy ways of his wife and not having the time; too busy/too much...Wait to hear from God...than you will recognise the voice of the Holy Spirit. OH MY! ODK/GDK; your fav. scripture was mentioned; Jeremiah 29:11.
Hate=Hole....stop everything! Pastor Eddie mentioned Kenneth Koden??? from Denver, CO....we all can struggle with the will of God every day-
points---> * use to be a cop (Amarillo) - loss of control- control self. Isaiah 62. Hate is lthe same as murder he mentioned. Talked about a $80,000 job offer than the place folded...wonder if it was your old job John & Tom :)
Jesus said the world will know....I know there is much more to share but I feel so yuk...just hung up with John...gonna close this & post this for now and I will continue Sunday church day on next log on plus the rest of this week...but for now going to watch a western....goodnight...
oh ...on Thanksgiving we rested/packed/garage/etc. before you ask me Gracie...
December 10th- Very Merry Parade Of Lights- Kingman, Arizona- 928-753-6106 for more details
So the church service ended and people quickly gathered chairs and tables to turn it into a potluck area and I asked Gretchen if I could get her plate for her before I was served and began to eat but someone was in line already for her. I enjoyed the couples (Ann, Larry, Judy and Dennis) at my table and Ron...I did not feel good at all yet I listened & giggled and talked at times. Larry was cool. His interest & questions reminded me alot of Gilbert Dean...we talked on my desert walks and caves...I did not have a pen to jot the local hobby hiking page to them yet Sonny got my bag and I let them choose a postcard that has the link on it. They choose the one where John and I were at Gilbert Dean's hunting cabin in Glen Ilah for a western cookout & we roasted marshmallows one Christmas Season. I went on a rock and it was rainy/snowy that day and so the photo had a raindrop on lense so that is the dark spot that came out on postcard, they know Rose Mary's art & have it in their home...small world...right Dave Mclane...let me share some links on our Congress lady Rose Mary...http://www.rosemarygoodson.com/ ...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yRE1cRYU2Y ...she has to be 94/95 and maybe past 100...all I know she is the guiding light that began Sueko & Dave's journey to Congress...and a delight Rose Mary is...so it was neat to see out of all the places I come from they have art in their home which they bought from Mayor Ed's trading post and Mayor Ed will like to read this...and I know he will say to say hello to Ann & Larry for that is how he is...so Hi to you Ann & Larry from Mayor Ed...After we got back, we hurried to get some projects done than off to sleep it was...the time here has been truly pleasant and peaceful...sure I miss John and being there in Congress yet I DO see why God has me here even if at times I am craving my migun or a nice long hot bath that remains hot from start to finish...it has not been fun taking showers outdoors in the cold chilly weather...Monday I was up by 5am and ready to head out and we went to the Mojave Lumber Yard to pick up OSB to finish a project than headed to get tire fixed and noted they all needed to be done really so we tire shopped and Superior Tire got our business. I went too fast already so we are driving the hill approaching Kingman and the dually ran out of gas...I prayed...if it is of His will He will guide us the rest of the way with 5 miles left to drive to Woody's gas station...God did. The gas ran out and we got up the hill some how and coasted down the hill and filled up at 10am. We were at Soapies from 10:15-11:07am and a lady began to show her excitement of a kindle book she is reading (Janet Evanovich is the author of 17 books and one due out soon and also a movie in January 2012 and her fav. one is one for the money...she enjoyed sharing it to me that I am sharing it to you all...and as she shared about a wh ore in the book...this man in a lay's blue shirt walked by and said that word has struck a chord and wanted to explain that as a kid his mum was in the garden and he told his mother he found her to be a good hoe'r yet the mother took it on that he called her a wh ore. He stated the older folks in the family set him up to go out and say that to her and he did innocently and oh my...he remembers it to this day...and the funny thing too Sonny was talking about hoes Sunday night...garden hoe not wh ore but it sounded like that...funny how words can sound, huh...as I am now in the dryer section I see a book from that same author I just saw from the lady with the kindle and she went on delighted by how she obtained the books and how funny they are...both ladies stop back by and warmly wished me a sweet day; the way they made the effort to come back to wish me the sweetest day is I guess what I was looking for in the body of the church...I am a complete stranger in a local laundry mat called Soapies and the realness of these 2 women was very much appreciated. They reminded me of the lady at church Tilly. We headed to get tire prices and my body felt ill so I thought since I had not eaten since church that maybe we can grab a quick bite and we went to Del Taco and the cheese on the taco tasted very fresh...we stayed there 11:10-11:30am. Than to Walmart for tire quote and the lady suggested BIG O and Stockton Tires but we went with the warmth we received at Superior Tires plus the lowest price. As they did the tires we picked up plumbing pieces over at Home Depot. Than after that we waited from 2:28-3:17pm talking to a rancher from Peach Spring about his thievery/bandit events he has on his property. The tires look good except the inner ones need new rims...cracked...We were at the feed store from 3:21-3:25 getting the monthly needs...Home Depot from 3:33pm-4:25pm getting insualtion and cement board for my watering hole idea...than we went to CVS for their coupon deal for Evan W....than Ace Hardware 4:31pm-4:38 for check valve...Finally got to the Walmart by 5pm and talk to John...I was plum tuckered out...so I wanted to grab a hamburger and I said let me buy it Sonny so I surprised him with an angus combo and we both got instantly ill...I ran to the bathroom to vomit and washed up and as soon as I walked out I ran into church member Timothy & he said Sonny mentioned some hiking page I have and I mentioned it but I told him better yet I can give him a postcard with link on it so I grabbed one out and it happen to be Jerry S. in the tub where it says Arizona...it's a dry bath. The lady behind us in line says she is plastered drunk and the cashier asked if she is driving and she said nope and soon after 2 lil kids with Mc D's ice cream cones come with the lady's mum who is also not sober...so I just prayed travel safety for them. It seems EVERY time I am at Walmart I attract the drunks for we seem to see them approach me. Well, we ate the burgers at 5:18pm, shopped and left right around 7pm and headed back...I was feeling really ill that I closed my eyes the whole way home and have no clue how I unpacked it all yet went right to bed after washing up...than yesterday came & went...was very ill...Sonny too. WE are 86'ing McD's & Del Taco for awhile...not much was even accomplished yesterday...I did forget to mention on Sunday I did put up the stable for Skeeter & will share the horse I have had for almost 2 decades that lived in my Chandler home as well Congress and I brought him here and Sonny named him finally...share pic in comment wall. I know I may of missed a titbit of info. here or there but it is quite detailed Gracie the days how they unfolded...I am sorry for the delay but I lost some blood this week and this vomiting has to end plus this overall feeling yuk like I am. I usually can wear a smile but not the past day and today 11/30/11 I awoke at 6am feeling like total crap. this is a 100% rest day. Yesterday I ate some garlic & wheat pasta; no sauce with veggies and water...one small meal with a few chips as we watched a western last night. I forgot to add that when John dropped me off last Saturday and Sonny put gas in at the Dolan Gas Station and the water load/trailer came off so that was a fun start to me being back...always something...
