Degas Horses Fine Art Card
"Horses in a Meadow", a fairly unknown painting by Edgar Degas. I first saw the original painting at the National Art Gallery in Washington, D.C. many, many years ago. Being an equine artist, I immediately fell in love with the freshness of the composition. Degas is primarily known for his beautiful depictions of dancers and the race track, but this is by far my favourite of his. I searched to find a print of it for years, and even the National Art Gallery did not offer any for sale. How wonderful it is that the public domain and the age of technology now make it possible for beautiful vintage works of art such as this to be offered to the public. This gorgeous image makes a wonderful all occasion greeting card. The inside is left blank for your own message.
