Della Robbia Virgin with Lilies Blue White Madonna Ceramic Tree Decoration

A flat reproduction of "The Virgin of the Lilies", a beautiful Renaissance basorelief of Madonna and the Child Jesus by the Della Robbia workshop. Virgin Mary, seen from profile, looks tenderly her baby Jesus, who sits in her lap. On their sides there are two white lilies. The characters and the lily flowers are white, the background is blue. They are surrounded by a brown scales pattern (or scallop) frame. The Renaissance tondo basorelief "The Virgin of the Lilies", created in the Della Robbia family workshop in Florence in the 15th century, is now in the public domain.
