Destrier Bumper Sticker
The Destrier the best-known war horse of the mediaeval era. It carried knights in battles, tournaments and joust It was described by contemporary sources as the Great Horse, due to its significance. I painted this Destrier in oils on canvas. As to the livery, which involved no end of colours to achieve the desired effect, was from a knight in a joust at Blenleim Palace. The background was my imagination.
