This is a classic. Call it what you will: the Devil's Triangle, the Impossible Triangle, the Penrose Triangle. They are all the same trick of a few lines and quite impossible in our mundane three-dimensional space. Though not real, it originated with a real Swedish guy named Oscar Reutersvard in 1934. Although a casual glance sees it as perfectly legit, closer inspection leads to a frisson of cognitive dissonance.
