White blood cells, or leukocytes (also spelled "leucocytes"), are cells of the immune system involved in defending the body against both infectious disease and foreign materials. Five different and diverse types of leukocytes exist, but they are all produced and derived from a multipotent cell in the bone marrow known as a hematopoietic stem cell. They live for about three to four days in the average human body. Leukocytes are found throughout the body, including the blood and lymphatic system. The clock did not take as long to arrive as I thought it might and was extremely well packaged. I didn't do the measurements so I didn't realize it is a little smaller than the average clock but that does not matter (just make sure you check if that's important to you).It is really nifty! It seems very solid and well made not flimsy at all. It has been going well and has kept good time in its few weeks on my wall. Nice product. Gets noticed too! Nicer in real life than the picture but true to the picture
