This commemorative poster print features a large scale reproduction of an original panoramic photograph of the Shenandoah Disaster in Sharon, Ohio taken on September 3, 1925. The Navy dirigible "Shenandoah" left Lakehurst, New Jersey, on September 2, 1925, at approximately 4:00 P.M., headed for St. Louis and Detroit. Lieutenant Commander Zachery Lansdowne was in charge, with approximately 36 men on board.
