"Dogs Grooming Dogs" shows dogs grooming each other at the Dog Show by prolific artist Louis Wain. Louis Wain was a prolific artist. He illustrated about one hundred children's books, and his work appeared in papers, journals, and magazines. He drew and painted both cats and dogs, but later concentrated solely on cats. This is a rare and humourous dog image from the earlier period in his life. The exact date of this work is unknown, but it was most likely made before 1905.
