Dorothy Lathrop: Boat of Dreams Fairy Illustration Poster

Dorothy Lathrop (1891-1980) was an important American children's book illustrator and author. She worked as the primary illustrator for many popular American authors of American children's literature and illustrated more than 38 children's books. Along with writing and illustrating children's stories, she also wrote and illustrated many books devoted to the importance of animals. Dorothy Lathrop's fairy illustrations are her most famous works. "The Boat of Dreams" is a wonderful example. It features the fairy queen sailing through the starry sky, accompanied by a group of magical butterflies. The full moon shines in the background.

The product got here on time. I put it in a frame on my daughters wall. She is loving the chart. When she wants to check how she feels, she just walks over and points. It goes well as a companion to the Teddy, How Do You Feel? book. Would buy as a gift for others. The colors are great. The pictures are clear and very noticeable.
