Dragonfly Moon Tissue Paper

Grief is like a dragonfly, So fragile and so small, Yet it holds a weight within, That can make the strongest fall. The moon above is shining bright, As I sit and watch the night, And though the world seems peaceful now, I cannot shake this sombre sight. My heart is heavy with the pain, Of loss that I cannot explain, And though I try to hide my tears, They flow like moonshine in the rain. But in the midst of all my pain, A dragonfly dances in the light, Its wings a painting in the air, A symbol of nature's flight. And so I'm reminded that in grief, There can be moments of beauty too, Like dragonflies in moonlight, And memories that shine like dew.
