When the moon eclipses the sun, all living creatures take note. They appear to be temporarily confused into thinking it’s night time. The darkness created by the solar eclipse triggers night-time behaviour. During previous eclipses,dragonflies were spotted hiding under leaves, ants returned to their nests and grasshoppers stopped making their characteristic clicking sound. "Dragonfly Eclipse" shows a dragonfly taking note of the solar eclipse, and perhaps preparing to get under the leaves of this colourful plant as if it were night.
