A "Dresden plate" quilt (patchwork) - a circular flower made from the repetition of different triangular patches (the petals) with vintage wallpaper patterns by William Morris (1834 – 1896) representing mainly flowers, leaves, birds and fruits, all of them in the public domain. The background and the centre of the Dresden plate is almost white.
