Dutch Flat community Pool, fest 1936 Card

This is a current (2020) view of a popular summer time recreation area for locals of the Dutch Flat, Alta, Gold Run, Baxter towns in Placer County. The pool was built by damming up a small hydraulic mining pit. An annual barbeque is held each year to raise operating funds. Revenues raised by special use district property taxes of local taxpayers are used to run the pool. Local volunteers oversee the summer operation.

We downloaded several photos which was simple and produced a very attractive personalised card for our 11yr old Granddaughter. I was concerned that the card would not arrive on time but Zazzle came up trumps and the card arrived on the day before her birthday - perfect! I didn't see the card as it went straight to our family in New Zealand. However they did send a photo and it looked excellent!
