Eagle with Isaiah 40:31 Tote Bag
This stand of dead fir trees hints of bygone days. Fraser Fir trees in the Smoky Mountains were decimated by the balsam woolly adelgid insect (Adelges piceae) starting in the 1960s. I took this photo in 1993. The scripture I transcribed from a Nelson 1913 KJV Bible once owned by my great, great uncle John. The flying eagle image is from the royalty free site: www.pixabay.com. The artists post their works for free use. Some accept donations of any amount if you so choose. Others do not.
