National flag of Ecuador The Ecuadorian national flag, which is also known as La Tricolor, has three horizontal bands, in yellow, blue and red. The country's coat of arms is in the centre of the flag. It was adopted in 1860, and the current version (with a 2:3 ratio) in 2009.
