This design features a painting by the Scottish artist George Henry (1858–1943), who was one of the most prominent members of the Glasgow School of art. It a depicts a view of Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland, seen from parkland in the centre of the city. Famous landmarks such as Arthur's Seat, the Scott Monument and Edinburgh Castle can be seen. Edinburgh is located in the historic region of Lothian, on the southern shore of the Firth of Forth. Edinburgh is the most populous city in Scotland after Glasgow. The skyline of the city here is depicted in silhouette, using various shades of blue and green to produce an elegant and stylish effect. The original artwork was painted by George Henry in 1924.

Very impressive product! The canvas is sturdily made. It features a saw tooth hanger on the back, making it easy to "try out" the canvas in several rooms until I found the best location. It attracts good comments from my friends. I love it! The printing is wonderful! Colors are as bright and crisp as they appeared on the website.

The print was really like something that would be purchased in a gallery. One of the panels needed to be re-stretched but that’s easy. I did 4 panels which when hung together made one huge image. I then enhanced the canvas by painting over some areas.. and then used permanent markers. The result was a personalized artistic piece for a clients early modern home. This piece far exceeded my expectations. Will definitely go back and use this idea again. Exact representation of image sent. Be aware that photos have pixelated flaws... if these little dark specks aren’t cleaned up using common computer techniques, they will be represented in the final canvas print..... so go over the image and make sure all flaws have been erased prior to submitting it. The reproduction is exactly what you send.
