At the Café / Café-concert (Au Café), painted in 1879 in oil on canvas by French painter Édouard Manet. The painting captures the crowded modern life of a Paris café-concert, with figures seated close together amid drinks, conversation and entertainment. The work is closely connected to Corner of a Café-Concert: technical study shows that the two paintings developed from a larger composition of the Brasserie de Reichshoffen before Manet separated and completed them independently.
