Ivan Rosario, 1925 - 2002, was the premier Puerto Rican countryside landscape painter. He hailed from the southern town of Ponce. His paintings of the Puerto Rican countryside were always a spectacular and rare variation on 4 elements: the mountain ridge, the river, the blue sky and of course, his beloved flamboyán. The paintings in this gallery, from the collection of three private collectors, were painted during his time in Maryland (1985 - 1988, 1996) Take pleasure in his art and Enjoy!
