While the cover and back are thin, the fact that you can personalize these, makes up for it. You will have something unique in the end. The cover is very glossy which is nice. This will be a good one to keep at my desk for note taking. This came very well packaged. Printed out exactly as shown. Dark as shown. I ordered this to test how it would turn out as it is my design. So, it will look like this, only super shiny.
