Gitana is the name of this beautiful chestnut mare. This amazing brown horse has a long flowing mane that's thick and lush. Her sweet and loving personality can been seen through her expressive eyes. This amazing horse was a pleasure to paint, but I especially enjoyed working on her wonderful mane. Sadly Gitana has passed on, she was a much loved family pet and she is a very special part of my equine portrait collection.
