European Seabass Postcard
It is a member of the Temperate Bass family. It is native from Norway to Morocco, the Canary Islands and Senegal. Also, the Mediterranean and Black Sea. They enter coastal waters and rivers in summer, but migrate offshore in colder weather. It feeds chiefly on shrimps, mollusks and fish. It can reach a maximum length of 103 cm (40.6 inches) and a maximum published weight of 12 kg (26,5 pounds).
