Extraordinary Starry Night Postcard
This started as a really detailed macro butterlfy photo. I used photoshop to make the neon edges, extended the canvas with a matching black background and used the the Alien Skin Xenofex 2 Constellation macro in PhotoImpact 10 to add the stars. For all that technospeak - - I am an avid stargazer and a recalcitrant dreamer -- it took me some time to figure out how to make the picture I saw in my head that had the butterfly picture superimposed on a night sky full of stars. I will be tinkering with it more but this version seemed good enough to share.
