Art Nouveau Magic Eye and Stars - an illustration of an eye. People in the early 1900s were into the zodiac and astrology, and this image of an eye surrounded by stars is from the time of mystics and romance. Created for a 1911 poster for an advertisement for a medical exhibition, this image features wonderful Art Nouveau stars, a dark blue background, and a really big eye with sunbeams radiating outward towards the stars, as if the eye were taking the place of the sun. Maybe this mystic eye has something to do with a "third eye" or perhaps that your astrological sign can determine which foods and medicines are appropriate for you.
