Part of a beautiful illustration painted by french artist Edmund Dulac, for a poem by Edgard Allan Poe, called "Fairy-Land". In the poem, fairies come out in the moonlight and flutter about the land. Edmund Dulac was a well known French book illustrator during the early 1900's. He illustrated for fairytale books and literature books. He became a naturalised British citizen in 1912. Later in his life his career expanded into other areas like portraiture, costume and set design, bookplates, chocolate boxes, medals, graphic arts, and even British postage stamps.

It was easy to put in the text and it came out exactly how I wanted it to. So many styles to choose from that were lovely for a birthday invitation. Quality of invitation was great and overall very happy. Would definitely use again. It was what I expected but wished it did have glitter.
