Fall River Line, Steamship 'Providence' Shot Glass

Launched in 1866, Providence was a large sidewheel steamer. Providence and her sister ship Bristol were luxuriously outfitted and could carry up to 1,200 passengers each. Providence steamed from New York to several ports in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island. Providence was scrapped in 1901.
