The Moondance Diner was a diner in the SoHo section of New York City. It was located at 80 Sixth Avenue, between Grand Street and Canal Street and seated about 34 people. This famous diner was closed in about 2007 and sold to someone who moved it out west and reopened it as a diner. The diner has been in music videos, movies and TV shows. The diner opened in 1933, and was originally called the Holland Tunnel Diner. A unique and eclectic image for the true New Yorker who has a little history in this town.
