Agriculture is one of the primary industries on the Island. Farming standards, rich fertile land, weather and climate makes PEI one of Canada’s farming jewels! Many of the farmers are following the family trade which go back nearly two centuries. Beautiful ploughed fields show off the red soil with greens and gold of crops growing potatoes, wheat, corn and canola as far as the eyes can see.
