My children recently caught a bunch of Spanish Mackerel where we live, off the coast of St. Petersburg, FL. I had never seen any actual Spanish Mackerel before... (and I didn't then either, now that I think of it... I only saw the fillets, but they tasted great), and I had always thought they were beautiful fish. My kids love fishing and fish... I have drawn many different kinds of fish with my youngest son, especially. So, this time, I decided to draw the Spanish Mackerel... Merry Christmas!
