Fiat Tagliero Service Station, Asmara, Eritrea Tote Bag

By the late 1930s, Eritrea's capital city had so much Italian architecture, it was called "little Rome". Built almost entirely in the 30s and 40s by the Italians, Asmara is an astounding mix of well-preserved Art Deco, Modernist, Futurist, Fascist, and International Style buildings. Arguably the city's most famous building is the stunning Futurist-style Fiat Tagliero Service Station. This landmark structure, along with many other significant and well-preserved buildings from that era, helped Asmara achieve UNESCO World Heritage recognition in 2017.
