Fisherman's Museum, Nida, LITHUANIA - Mouse Pad

We so enjoyed our visit to the Coronian Spit during a heritage trip in June 2013. While in Nida, we spotted the striking weathercocks used by the fishermen (of this Baltic Sea region of western Lithuania) to show wind direction, as well as their origin port. The latter was denoted by the black and white symbol, bottom centre. The Nida Fisherman’s Museum provides further information.
