Flag of Germany (Deutschland) Tie

This design features the national flag of Germany (officially known as the Federal Republic of Germany). The German name for the country is Deutschland. Germany is located where the regions of Central and Western Europe meet, between the Baltic and North seas to the north and the Alps to the south. The country has 16 constituent states, known as Länder. Germany borders Denmark to the north; Poland and the Czech Republic to the east; Austria and Switzerland to the south; and France, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands to the west. The capital and largest city of Germany is Berlin, while its financial centre is Frankfurt (officially Frankfurt am Main). The largest urban area in Germany is the Ruhr valley.
