The vintage flower garland on the upper border and the bouquets in the lower corners - of burgundy and white peonies - are painted by the painter and botanist Pierre-Joseph Redouté(1759-1840) and are now in the public domain. The background is white marble. The names of the bride and groom are written in an elegant calligraphic script, the message "Welcome to the wedding of" above them and the date below them, in smaller caps . All text has a golden colour.
