Mermaid magic bubble bath in the Folly Beach boat~iykyk; I love that my rendered original, colourful coloured pencil drawing is reminiscent of both stained glass & watercolor. One of my favourite ways to create art is to generate a play between foreground & background; here, I’ve woven her hair into the pattern of the boat & arranged some of the boat’s decor to overlap. Homage to the women of the water, who are unabashedly their own person & celebrate being a person of the earth.
