Forest Fuzz; 2013 Calendar Mouse Pad

This long, stringy moss grows in abundance in boreal forests. I am not sure of the real name but we always called it Witch's Hair. It's a great addition to some dry sticks and leaves for fire starter. I took this picture down on the little trail at the back of Kiniskan Lake Provincial Campground in British Columbia, Canada.
