A strong thunderstorm rumbles through the Gulf of Mexico as people fish, using a spotlight to look for bait. In this 30 second exposure, a lightning bolt strikes the water as another races under storm clouds. This pier was destroyed by Hurricane Ian in 2022. We all hope it's rebuilt for others to enjoy and photograph.
