Four French Clowns Postcard
This antique trade card, given free to advertise products to future customers, was printed in France at the end of the nineteenth century. I have brightened and enhanced the drab and faded colours to turn back the clock for the long forgotten illustration. The background, which appears to be a circus tent, has been rendered in shades of turquoise and aqua to provide a slightly different background for the entertaining clowns.
