Fowlstone Farm - Coffee Mug
Many years ago, I found a photo of Fowlstone Farm in a small book of old buildings from the UK. I loved the detailed stonework in it and made a pen and ink drawing using a fineliner pen based on the farm-house. When I was studying in England, I was on a coach heading to the Lake District and just happened to see the building out through the window as we drove by - not expecting to ever see it in real life! The drawing lived in my grandparents' lounge room until a couple of years ago when, after my grandparents had both passed away, it returned to me and I was able to get it professionally scanned. I now get to enjoy the memories the drawing stirs up in my own home. I hope it will charm you too, just as it did all those years ago for me.
