FOX Beneath Pine Bough Poster
Arlenne J. Langlois, my mother, is gone, but her spirit lives on in the many drawings she sketched later in life.
Mum was an eastern Washington State farm girl prior to World War II, and she was never without a pet her entire life. This drawing of a Fox beneath a pine bough was drawn by mum from memory without a photograph.
She never took an art course, but, I think you will agree, this is a fine example of American Folk Art. There is honesty and soul in her work. She put love in every stroke of the pen, and when I look at it today, it makes me smile. I hope it brings the same joy to you hanging in your home, office, or establishment.
