'Friends for life!' Note Card
This card features a photo of the mischievous Washington twins of 2010. We picked these two cubs up in Washing when we returned the twins from 2009. The smaller male was very protective of his larger sister even though he had a bite wound on one side of his hip and a long gash on the other. The veterinarian stitched up the gash before we picked them up and we treated the other wound with antibiotics. However, his sister got tired of his over protective behaviour and finally told him in "bear terms" that she was quite capable of taking care of herself. Please note that 15% of the proceeds of this item go directly to the care and support of orphaned bear cubs.
