This is a photo of an ice covered wetland pond shortly after a snowstorm. It lies within an area known as the pinelands. It was a sunny day and a clear blue sky peeks through the leafless branches of the woodlands. Snow blankets the winter landscape as the sun reflects off the frozen surface of the wetland pond, creating a winter wonderland. A tree trunk juts skyward in the foreground.
