I love roses that have old world charm and a strong fragrance and the fairly new rose "Fruity Parfuma"(a floribunda rose) has both. I photographed this rose indoors and although I love the pink bloom it looked quite stunning as a black and white photo and reminded me of striking photos from earlier periods of photographic history.
