Fun Halloween ghost & pumpkin print, spooky season Holiday Card

Trying out some watercolor pencils and having more fun than I imagined :) I love Ray Bradbury's work. It's so nostalgic for me, as I remember watching "The Halloween Tree" as a kid and feeling so emotionally moved for Pipkin. Further, my best year in school was 1999, when I won a president's award for achieving high honours. One of my favourite classes was English. We read, "Something Wicked This Way Comes," and then watched the film. We also watched selections from "Ray Bradbury Theatre". I felt so hopeful and optimistic that fall, and any type of fall art or decor brings back those memories. I watched an interview with Ray Bradbury where he said "The Halloween Tree" was based on a painting. So, I made a painting based on his book! I'm enjoying the watercolor pencils and planning to do many more.
