Fun Japanese Vintage Fish Yokai Coaster

One of my favourite youkai is this random fish from the Bakemono Konrei Emaki (化物婚礼絵巻, Ghost Wedding Scroll), drawn by an unknown artist in the Edo period of Japan, sometime between the early 1600s to the mid 1800s. It is described by the International Research Centre for Japanese Studies as a sea bream riding a wooden pedestal, and what more do we need to know, really?

My coasters arrived and one was chipped. I got in touch with Zazzle and had no trouble getting a replacement. I was refreshed with how easy and it was and how customer-focused their service was. The colours are good. Just note these coasters are clay not furry.
