Funchal, Madeira Vintage Print

This extremely detailed print of the city Funchal, on the Portuguese island Madeira, came from an antique book picturing exotic and faraway places (as black line drawings on white). The ships and sailors docking at the port date the view to when it was created, but certain aspects of this breathtakingly beautiful location have never changed: the mountains, the ocean (of course), and some of the typical architecture which remains a tradition, not quite like anything to be found on the mainland. This print is also available in the original black and white version as well as in blue-tinted tones.

I originally ordered this print in a larger size but was not pleased with the clarity of it. When I contacted Zazzle, they responded really quickly and were very helpful. I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it. The colours were rich and the image sharp.
