This product highlights a panorama of Yosemite National Park and domes of the Sierra Nevada. Cathedral Lake is highlighted in the right side of the photo. The photos used for the panorama were taken during expeditions by well-known USGS geomorphologist and geologist, Grove Karl Gilbert. The photos have been assembled into the panorama shown on the mug by GEOLOGY WORKS. The original images can be accessed at the USGS Photographic Library website.
