Garden of Allah Hotel notebook
On January 9th, 1927, the former estate of Russian actress Alla Nazimova opened its doors at 8152 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles as the Garden of Allah Hotel. From the outset, it attracted the creative and the talented, the ambitious and the articulate, the soon-to-be-famous, the already-famous, and the forever-infamous. For the next 32 years, it was home to a revolving guest list of Hollywood luminaries who helped shape the greatest era of filmmaking the world has ever known. Among its guests were Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Ginger Rogers, Errol Flynn, Robert Benchley, Dorothy Parker, Sergei Rachmaninoff, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Harpo Marx Orson Welles, and many more. On August 22nd, 1959, the hotel closed its doors, but the legend that was the Garden of Allah lives on. This is a colourized photograph taken in 1932.

Happy as with the book, the pages are plenty with happy with the thickness and lines of each page. Purchased another 2 books soon after purchasing the first 2!

Met my expectations perfectly. Quality notebook with lined paper. Good size and good amount of pages. I used my own design and added the birds. Color of scenery was beautiful and dark printing exceptional with the light background.
